Figure 21.1: Structure of the program area in Version 5.0 of Bernese GPS Software.
GPS This directory contains software-related files of various kinds. Many of these files
are described in Chapter 22.
CMAIN
GEN contains important general files (e.g., satellite information files, geodetic
datum definition files, the definition of the constants to be used
by the Bernese programs, etc.).
EXE contains a number of command files (scripts) to execute the menu
or programs, to compile and link particular routines or to recompile
all modules of the software. The directory also contains the
configure.pm module used to install the software or a new user. The
content of the directory differs for UNIX and Windows.
PAN contains the original program input panels (master copies). These
panels are copied automatically to the corresponding user directories
(${U}/PAN or %U%\PAN\) during the installation of the user environment.
HLP contains the help panels. Help panels may be displayed on request as
on-line help for each input panel of the menu system.
SKL contains the default file for the session definition (SESSIONS.SES)
which is automatically placed into the subdirectory STA when a new
campaign is created using the menu.
