20.4.2.1 Copy Required Files and Create A Priori Coordinate File
Before any program is started, all necessary files must be readily available for the BPE.
The task of the first PCF section is to provide these files. Usually all PCFs start with a
copy-script or something similar, e.g., an ftp-script to automatically download IGS products
for the selected session would be imaginable.

PID 001 R2S COP: This script copies all needed files into the respective campaign directories.
If appropriate, file names will be changed according to the BPE variable V B
(which holds the prefix for input files) and/or a session-specific date. The files dealt
with in this script are:

Because of the example nature of this BPE, several source and destination directories
are identical. The script lets you easily adapt the source directories to your specific
needs, e.g., set to an ftp download directory or a data pool.
The BPE will stop with an error if one of the requested files is missing.
PID 002 COOVEL: Coordinates of the IGS reference stations are given for epoch Jan. 1.,
2000, 00:00:00 (cf. IGS 00.CRD in STA-directory). Program COOVEL propagates them
to the current session’s epoch using IGS velocities (see IGS 00.VEL in STA-directory).

20.4.2.2 Prepare Pole, Orbit, and Clock Information
The next section of the example RNX2SNX.PCF performs some standard preparatory steps.
In particular, orbit and earth orientation files are converted from foreign to Bernese formats.
It is very important that you always use orbits together with the corresponding pole
information to avoid inconsistencies.
