Installation Guide To make the update active you have either to recompile the complete software using the COMPLINK command or to extract the archive of the latest executables – that are available for all three memory models at the same location as the usual update archive – to %XG%directory. To finalize the update you may have to update some of the program input panels in the ${U}/PAN as well as ${U}/OPT/* directories of each user with ”Menu>Configure>Update input files”. The software update may also have an effect on the processing example. The latest version with the reference files computed with the actual software release may be downloaded at ftp://ftp.unibe.ch/aiub/BERN50/EXAMPLE.taz (UNIX-compressed tar-archive that should be extractable with a unzip-tool after renaming to EXAMPLE.tar.Z). 23.1.7 Support The context sensitive help function of Bernese GPS Software Version 5.0 is a first source of information, next to the printed manual.
