Les Gouvernements contractants renoncent<br />

au remboursement des frais occasionn6s, dans<br />

les limites de leurs territoires respectifs, par<br />

l'envoi et la restitution des pi~ces de conviction<br />

et documents.<br />

Article 19.<br />

Les deux Gouvernements s'engagent h se<br />

communiquer rdciproquement, sans restitution<br />

des frais, les condamnations pour crimes<br />

ou d6lits de toute esp~ce qui auront 6t6 prononces<br />

par les tribunaux de lFun des deux Etats<br />

contre les sujets de l'autre.<br />

Cette communication sera effectude moyennant<br />

l'envoi par la voie diplomatique d'un<br />

bulletin ou extrait de la ddcision d~finitive, au<br />

Gouvernement du pays auquel appartient le<br />

condamn6.<br />

Article 20.<br />

Le prdsent trait6 entrera en vigueur dix jours<br />

apr~s sa publication dans les formes prescrites<br />

par les lois des deux pays.<br />

Les faits antdrieurs h la mise en vigueur du<br />

Trait6 ne pourront 6tre l'objet d'une demande<br />

d'extradition que dans le cas oil les personnes<br />

rfclam~es se seraient rdfugides sur le territoire<br />

de 'Etat requis aprs la signature.<br />

Chacune des Parties contractantes pourra<br />

en tout temps ddnoncer le prdsent Trait6 en<br />

prdvenant l'autre Partie de son intention six<br />

mois h l'avance.<br />

II sera ratifi6, et les ratifications en seront<br />

6changdes k Athnes dans un ddlai de six mois<br />

au plus t6t si faire se peut.<br />

EN FOI DE QUOI, les Plnipotentiaires respectifs<br />

l'ont sign6 et y ont appos6 leurs cachets.<br />

or desirable, a request to that effect will be<br />

made through diplomatic channels, and shall<br />

be complied with unless special circumstances<br />

render such communication objectionable and<br />

subject to the return at the earliest possible<br />

date of such evidence and documents.<br />

The respective Governments renounce all<br />

claim to reimbursement of costs resulting within<br />

the limits of their respective territories from<br />

the forwarding and return of such evidence<br />

and documents.<br />

Article '9.<br />

The two Governments mutually undertake<br />

to inform each other, free of cost, of all convictions<br />

for crimes or delicts of any kind pronounced<br />

by the Courts of the one against subjects of the<br />

other.<br />

This notification shall take the form of a<br />

report or extract of the final judgment sent<br />

through diplomatic channels to the Government<br />

of the State to which the person convicted<br />

belongs.<br />

Article 20.<br />

The present <strong>Treaty</strong> shall come into force<br />

ten days after its publication in the forms<br />

prescribed by the laws of the two countriec.<br />

Acts done before the coming into force of<br />

the <strong>Treaty</strong> shall not form the subject of requests<br />

for extradition, except in cases where the persons<br />

claimed have taken refuge in the territory of<br />

the State to which the request is made after<br />

the exchagne of ratifications.<br />

Each of the Contracting Parties may at any<br />

time denounce the present <strong>Treaty</strong> by giving<br />

the other Party six months' notice of its intention.<br />

The <strong>Treaty</strong> shall be ratified and ratifications<br />

shall be exchanged at Athens, if possible,<br />

within six months.<br />

IN WITNESS whereof the respective Plenipotentiaries<br />

have signed and sealed the present<br />

<strong>Treaty</strong>.<br />
