Now, Therefore, I, Woodrow Wilson, President
of the United States of America, do
declare and proclaim that one of the alternative
conditions specified in Section 8 of the Act of
March 4, 19o9, was fulfilled in respect to the
subjects of Sweden on February I, 1920, and
that the subjects of Sweden from and after
that date shall be entitled to all the benefits
of the said Act, and the acts amendatory
thereof to and including the Act of Congress of
March 28, 1914, including copyright controlling
the parts of instruments serving to reproduce
mechanically a musical work, as provided in
Section I (e) of the said Act, in the case of all
works by Swedish authors which have been
published on or after February I, 1920, and
ave been deposited and registered for copyright
in the United States.
In Testimony whereof, I have hereunto set
my hand and caused the Seal of the United
States to be affixed.
Done at the City of Washington this 27th
day of February, 'in the Year of our Lord,
One Thousand Nine Hundred and Twenty and
of the Independence of the United States of
America the One Hundred and Forty-fourth.

Unis d'Amdrique, ddclare et proclame que l'une
des conditions sp~cifides h la Section 8 de la
loi du 4 mars 19o9 a 6t6 remplie, en ce qui concerne
les sujets su~dois, h la date du Ier f~vrier
1920, et que les sujets su~dois, ds cette date,
auront droit h tous les avantages qui d6rivent
de ladite Loi, et des lois qui l'amendent, y compris
la loi du Congr~s du 28 mars 1914, y conpris
6galement le droit de contr6ler les parties
d'instruments servant k reproduire m'caniquement
une oeuvre de musique, ainsi qu'il est
pr~vu h la Section I (e) de ladite loi. Ce droit
s'applique i toutes les euvres d'auteurs su~dois,
publiles ds le Ier f~vrier 192o, diment d~pos~es
et enregistr~es comme propridt6 litt~raire t:,
artistique aux Etats-Unis.
En foi de quoi, j'ai sign6 la pr6sente et fait
apposer le sceau des Etats-Unis.
Fait a Washington, le 27 f6vrier de l'An de
GrAce mil neuf cent vingt et la cent-quarante
quatri~me annie de l'Tnd~pendance des Etats-
Unis d'Am~rique.
