In conformity with and in completion of the regulation contained in the Convention of the<br />

same date, the undersigned, duly authorised by their respective Governments, have agreed subject<br />

to ratification to the following stipulations :<br />

The Contracting Parties shall, until further notice, refrain from fixing the points between<br />

which the frontier may be crossed in accordance with Article 12, paragraph i. They shall, however,<br />

reserve the right to establish these points by mutual agreement, for reasons of public interest<br />

and in particular, to safeguard their customs regulations. Each Party shall be entitled in special<br />

and urgent cases and after giving eight days notice to the other Party, to fix by a unilateral declaration<br />

provisional points between which the frontier is to be crossed. In such cases, any amplification<br />

of these regulations shall form the subject of a subsequent agreement between the two<br />

Contracting Parties.<br />
