Ils continueront d'exercer dans l'intfrft des<br />

particuliers, pour autant que les lois de l'Egypte<br />

ne s'y opposeront pas, toutes leurs fonctions<br />

non judiciaires dans les mmes conditions que<br />

par le pass6.<br />

Article 5.<br />

En attendant la conclusion d'accords spdciaux<br />

relatifs h l'Egypte ou entre la Grace et l'Egypte,<br />

s'6tendent en Egypte les trait~s suivants, en<br />

vigueur entre la Grace et la Grande-Bretagne,<br />

savoir : io l'arrangement relatif h 1'extradition<br />

des marins dserteurs 1 du 7/19 aoiit 1875;<br />

20 l'arrangement concernant la reconnaissance<br />

r6ciproque des Soci~tds Anonymes et autres<br />

associations 2 du 23 juillet/4 aofit 1888 ; 30 le<br />

Trait6 d'extradition 3 du 11/24 septembre 191o,<br />

et 40 tous les Traitds, Conventions et accords<br />

plurilat~raux int~ressant la Grace et la Grande-<br />

Bretagne et auxquels l'Egypte n'est pas partie.<br />

Pour l'application du Trait6 du 24 septembre<br />

191o, relatif h l'extradition des criminels, il<br />

est convenu que la condition stipul~e par<br />

1'article 3 du dit Trait6 h l'extradition des<br />

nationaux des Hautes Parties Contractantes<br />

s'6tendra, lorsqu'il s'agira des personnes r~fugi~es<br />

en Egypte, tant aux sujets de Sa Hautesse<br />

le Sultan qu'h tous les ressortissants britanniques.<br />

Sous condition de r~ciprocit6, le regime<br />

actuellement appliqu6 en Grace et en Egypte,<br />

respectivement aux importations provenant de<br />

l'autre pays, ou aux exportations vers ce pays,<br />

ne sera pas modifi6 h moins de pr~avis donn6<br />

12 mois h l'avance. I1 est entendu toutefois<br />

que le present engagement ne fait obstacle h la<br />

facult6 pour le Gouvernement Hellnique et<br />

le Gouvernement Egyptien d'apporter au r~gime<br />

existant entre les deux pays les modifications<br />

qui seraient rendues applicables h tous les<br />

autres pays indistinctement.<br />

Article 6.<br />

Les Communaut~s, Fondations et Associations<br />

soumises h la protection helldnique qui<br />

They shall continue to exercise in the interests<br />

of private persons, so far as is consistent with<br />

the laws of Egypt, all their non-judicial functions<br />

under the same conditions as formerly.<br />

Article 5.<br />

Pending the conclusion of special agreements<br />

relating to Egypt or between Greece and Egypt,<br />

the following treaties in force between Great<br />

Britain and Greece will apply in Egypt, that<br />

is to say : (i) the agreement relating to the<br />

surrender of seamen deserters' of the 7th/I 9th<br />

August, 1875, (2) the agreement concerning the<br />

reciprocal recognition of joint-stock companies<br />

and other associations 2 of the 23rd July-/4th<br />

August, 1888, (3) the Extradition <strong>Treaty</strong>3of<br />

the Iith / 24th September, i9io and all the<br />

multilateral treaties, conventions and agreements<br />

affecting Great Britain and Greece to<br />

which Egypt is not a party.<br />

In the execution of the treaty of the 24th<br />

September, 19io, relating to the extradition of<br />

criminals, it is agreed that the condition attached<br />

by Article 3 of the above-mentioned treaty to<br />

the extradition of the nationals of the High<br />

Contracting Parties shall apply, in the case<br />

of refugees in Egypt, to the subjects of His<br />

Highness the Sultan as well as to all British<br />

nationals.<br />

On condition of reciprocity, the regulations<br />

now applied in Greece and in Egypt respectively<br />

to imports coming from the other country or<br />

to exports to the other country shall not be<br />

altered unless notice to that effect has been<br />

previously given twelve months in advance.<br />

It is understood, however, that the present<br />

agreement shall not limit the right of the<br />

Hellenic Government and of the Egyptian<br />

Government to introduce into the r~gime in<br />

force between the two countries modifications<br />

which may be applicable to all other countries<br />

without distinction.<br />
