les lettres de ratification du Trait6 de Paix<br />
conclu le II aofit 1920 h Riga entre la Russie<br />
d'une part et la Latvie de 'autre, conform6ment<br />
h l'article 23 du susdit Trait6 de Paix.<br />
Apr~s quoi, vu que les lettres ont 6t6 pr6sent6es<br />
et trouv6es par les deux parties en bonne<br />
et due forme et que l'identitd de leur contenu<br />
a 6t6 constatee, 1'change des lettres de ratification<br />
a dtd effectu6, en foi de quoi les soussignus<br />
ont 6tabli le pr6sent protocole qu'ils ont<br />
sign6 et revftu de leurs cachets.<br />
L'original a 6td 6tabli en deux exemplaires<br />
et sin6 le 4 octobre 1920 1 6 heures 30 minutes<br />
de 1 apr~s-midi.<br />

the Pan Rusisan Central Executive Committee,<br />
after having signed these Letters of Ratification,<br />
has now confirmed them and has affixed thereto<br />
the State seal.<br />

1TRANSLATION.<br />
PROTOCOL<br />
The undersigned met on October 4th 1920<br />
at Moscow, at the Office of the Peoples Commissary<br />
for Foreign Affairs in order to exchange<br />
Letters of Ratification of the <strong>Treaty</strong> of Peace<br />
concluded at Riga on the ith Augus.t 192o<br />
between Russia on the one hand and Latvia<br />
on the other, in conformity with Article 23 of<br />
the aforementioned <strong>Treaty</strong> of Peace.<br />
After which, seeing that the Letters had<br />
been presented and found by both parties<br />
to be jin good and due form, and that their<br />
contents were found to be identical, the exchange<br />
of letters of Ratification took place.<br />
In witness whereof the undersigned have<br />
drawn up the present Protocol and have thereto<br />
affixed their signatures and seals.<br />
The original has- been done in duplicate and<br />
signed on the 4th of October 192o at 6.30 p. m.<br />
