Les Principales Puissances allides et associ6es
d~clarent transfrer, franc et quitte de toutes
charges et obligations, sous rdserve des "dispositions
du prdsent TraitS, au Danemark, qui
accepte, tout droit de souverainetd qu'Elles
tiennent de I'article iio, alinda 3, du Traitd
de Paix avec 1'Allemagne, en date & Versailles
du 28 juin I919, sur les territoires, Uies et flots
du Sleswig situds au Nord de la ligne frontire
ci-apr6s d~crite. Ce transfert prendra date du
15 juin 1920, jour oi la fixation de la fronti~re
a W officiellement notifide 4 I'Allemagne et au
Danemark.
A partir de la. mer Baltique, vers l'Ouest,
et jusqu'k 1'entrde du fjord de Flensburg:
le chenal principal de navigation;
de l, et jusqu'au point de latitude 540 50'
Nord et de longitude 90 28' Est de Greenwich:
le chenal principal de navigation;

Who have agreed as follows:
Article i.
The Principal Allied and Associated Powers
hereby transfer to Denmark, who accepts the
transfer, free and quit of all charges and
obligations, subject to' the provisions of the
present Treaty, all rights of sovereignty which
they hold, under the third paragraph o Article
I1o of the Treaty of Peace with Germany
signed at Versailles on June 28, 1919, over the
territories, islands ans islets of Slesvig situated
to the north of the frontier line hereafter
described. This transfer will date from June 15,
1920, the day on which the fixing of the frontier
was officially notified to Germany and Denmark
From the Baltic Sea westwards to the entrance
of the Flensburger F6hrde,
the principal channel of navigation;
thence to the intersection of longitude
9 o 28' east of Greenwich with the paralle of
latitude 540 50' north,
the principal channel of navigation of the
Flensburger F6hrde ;
