Article 9.<br />

Les deux parties confieront h la Croix-Rouge<br />

de Gen~ve la conduite des ndgociations avec<br />

les Etats que les convois devront traverser.<br />

Cette institution sera 6galement responsable<br />

de l'organisation et de la sauvegarde des convois<br />

pendant leur passage l. travers le territoire<br />

de ces Etats. Chaque partie conclura un<br />

accord special avec la Croix-Rouge Internationale,<br />

relatif aux ddpenses qui en rdsulteront.<br />

Article IO.<br />

Le calcul des frais occasionn~s par l'exdcution<br />

de cet Accord et le r~glement de toutes<br />

les questions concernant 'la propridt6 privde<br />

des personnes rapatrides, la succession des<br />

d~c~ds, l'6change des listes de ces derniers,<br />

Vindication du lieu de leur inhumation et<br />

toutes autres de mime nature, seront rdglds<br />

par un accord spdcial.<br />

Article ii.<br />

Cet arrangement entrera en vigueur ds<br />

qu'il sera ratifi6 par les deux Gouvernements.<br />

En foi de quoi les Pldnipotentiaires des deux<br />

Parties ont sign6 le prdsent arrangement et<br />

y ont appos6 leurs cachets.<br />

maintain in the territory of the other a welfare-centre<br />

for the purpose of preparing for<br />

repatriation and granting material assistance<br />

to those of its nationals who are returning. The<br />

extent of the duties of such welfare-centre<br />

shall be regulated by special agreements.<br />

Article 9.<br />

Both parties entrust the conduct of negotiations<br />

with such states as may be concerned<br />

in the passage of convoys to the International<br />

Red Cross at Geneva, which body shall also<br />

be responsible for the management and safety<br />

of the convoys during their passage through<br />

the territory of such states. Each of the contracting<br />

parties shall conclude a special agreement<br />

with the International Red Cross with<br />

regard to the expenses arising out of these<br />

proceedings,<br />

Article Io.<br />

The calculation of all expenses arising from<br />

the carrying out of this Agreement and the<br />

settlement of all questions concerning the property<br />

of persons repatriated, the estates of<br />

those deceased, the exchange of lists of such<br />

persons, the notification of their place of burial<br />

and similar matters, shall be settled by a special<br />

agreement.<br />

Article ii.<br />

This Agreement shall come into force as<br />

soon as it shall have been ratified by both<br />

Governments.<br />

In testimony whereof the plenipotentiaries<br />

of the two parties have hereto set their hand<br />

and seal.<br />
