and bearing the signature of the Belgian Minister<br />

of National Defence, as well as your Excellency's<br />

signature, your Excellency had the kindness<br />

to inform me that the Belgian Government<br />

gave its approval to the Military Understanding,<br />

the text of which was signed on September<br />

7, 1920, by Marshal FOCH, General MAGLINSE,<br />

Chief of Staff of the Belgian Army, and General<br />

BUAT, Chief of Staff of the French Army,<br />

designated for this purpose by their respective<br />

Governments.
