le montant des indemnit~s et, enfin, la valeur<br />
des constructions d'int~r~t public 6difi~es aux<br />
frais de l'Allemagne sur le territoire de la<br />
Latvie et pour lesquelles celle-ci a droit h<br />
une compensation de la part de la Latvie.<br />
Ces conferences n'auront pas h discuter les<br />
rdclamations des indemnit6s d6jh r~gl~es ou<br />
sur lesquelles les participants sont d~jh tombds<br />
d'accord.<br />
§ 6.<br />
Le Gouvernement allemand, qui repousse<br />
aujourd'hui comme autrefois toute responsabilit6<br />
dans l'affaire Bermondt, consent h abandonner<br />
h la Latvie le materiel de guerre et<br />
l'6quipement des troupes de Bermondt pour<br />
couvrir les dommages causes par ces troupes.<br />
I1 promet de prater son concours au Gouvernement<br />
latvien pour aider celui-ci h entrer en<br />
possession du materiel et de 1'6quipement.<br />
§ 7.<br />
Le Gouvernement allemand promet son intervention<br />
pour faire obtenir h la Latvie des<br />
marchandises h cr6dit dans des proportions qui<br />
seront fix~es par une Commission sp~ciale.<br />
§ 8.<br />
La Latvie consent h ce que les marchandises<br />
livr~es h l'Allemagne par la Latvie ou venant<br />
d'une autre contrde et transitant h travers la<br />
Latvie h destination de l'Allemagne, ne soient<br />
soumises h aucune difficult6 ni h aucune taxe<br />
spdciale. Les particularit~s relatives au transit<br />
seront r~gl~es par une Commission sp6ciale.<br />
§ 9.<br />
Le r~glement des questions 6conomiques, financires<br />
et relatives aux communications sera<br />
aussi confi6 h des Commissions sp~ciales.<br />
§ IO<br />
Les Commissions spdciales pr~vues par les<br />
§§ 5, 7, 8 et 9 seront formdes d'un nombre 6gal<br />

§ 6.<br />
The German Government which, now as<br />
hitherto, repudiates all responsibility for the<br />
Bermondt entreprise, agrees, for its part, that<br />
the war material and army property of the<br />
Bermondt troops be used to defray the damage<br />
done by these troops, and will render the<br />
Latvian Government every possible assistance<br />
in collecting the said war material and army<br />
property.<br />
§ 7.<br />
The German Government shall guarantee<br />
its intervention in order to obtain for Latvia<br />
a goods-credit on a scale of conditions to be<br />
defined by a special commission.<br />
§ 8.<br />
Latvia agrees that no special difficulties<br />
shall be placed in the way of, nor shall special<br />
dues be imposed on, goods passing through<br />
Latvia from Germany, or through Latvia from<br />
other countries to Germany. Details of this<br />
trough-traffic shall be settled by special<br />
Commission.<br />
§ 9.<br />
Other economic, financial and traffic questions<br />
shall also be settled by special Commission.<br />
§ 10.<br />
The special Commission as provided for in<br />
paragraphs. 5, 7, 8 and 9, shall consist of an
