Les pourparlers qui viennent d'avoir lieu
entre le Gouvernement du Roi et le Gouvernement
de Sa Majest6 le Roi des Belges m'ont
permis de constater que le Gouvernement de
Sa Majest6 le Roi des Belges serait dispos6 h
renouveler la convention internationale sur le
transport des marchandises par chemin de fer
sign~e h Berne le 14 octobre 189 ° et qui a 6t6
d~noncfe par la Belgique, en date du 31 d~cembre
1918.
Pour constater l'accord entre nos deux Gouvernements,
j'ai l'honneur, par la prisente,

for Sweden at Berne. The registration of the
above-mentioned exchange of notes took place
on February I, 1921.

STOCKHOLM, January 3rd. 1921.
As a result of the negotiations which havejust
taken place between the Government of the
King and the Government of His Majesty the
King of the Belgians, I understand that the
Government of His Majesty the King of the
Belgians is prepared to renew the International
Convention for the Transport of Goods by Rail,
signed at Berne on October 14th, 189o, which
was denounced by Belgium on December 3Ist,
1918.
In order to place on record the agreement
arrived at between our Governments I have
