krom uçuculuğu, oluşan oksit tabakanın azalan iletkenliği, artan ASR, korozyon
gibi olumsuz faktörlerin kaplama yöntemleriyle tam olarak iyileştirilmesi mümkün
olmamasına rağmen, doğru koruyucu kaplama yöntemlerinin ve doğru malzemelerin
seçilmesiyle bu sorunun minimuma indirgenebileceği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
