THE AXTIQUITIES LAW, 1935.<br />

Governor.<br />

In exercise of the powers vested in him by tbe<br />

Antiquities Law, 1935, His Excellency the Governor,<br />

with the advice of the Executive Council, ha* been<br />

pleased to make and hereby makes the following<br />

Regulations :—<br />

1. Tbese Regulations may be cited as the<br />

Antiquities Fund Regulations, 1936.<br />

2. <strong>The</strong>re shdl be established a Fnnd to be called<br />

"the Antiquities Fond" (in these Regulations<br />

referred to as " the Fund ") in accordance with the<br />

provisions of section 33 (e) of the Law.<br />

3. <strong>The</strong> fund shall be under the management and<br />

control of the Antiquities Advisory Board (in these<br />

Regulations leferred to as " the Board ").<br />

4. Any legacy, donation or subscription<br />

be(iueathed or paid into the Fund for a specific<br />

purpose shall be expended for such purpose :<br />

Provided that the Board may refuse to accept<br />

any legacy, donation or subscription to which<br />

conditions are attached which, in their opinion, are<br />

not in the interests of archaeology.<br />

5. Any moneys in the Fund other than those<br />

mentioned in regulation 4 of these Regulations may,<br />

upon the recommendation of the Board and subject<br />

M) the approval of the Governor, be expended in the<br />

preservation of any ancient monument or for any<br />

other purpose in the interests of archaeology.<br />

No. 238. Notification under the Tree Planting<br />

ViUage Areas Laws, 1930 and 1935.<br />

TREE PLANTING (SISKLIPOS) FUND.<br />

In exercise of the powers vested in me by the Tree<br />

Planting Village Areas Laws, 1930 and 1935,1 hereby<br />

establish a fund for the village of Sisklipos, in the<br />

District of Kyrenia, (hereinafter called the " Fund "),<br />

into which shall be paid all fines recovered under<br />

the said Laws for offences committed within the Tree<br />

Planting Area of the village of Sisklipos, as described<br />

in the Order of the Governor made the 8th February,<br />

1936, and published in the Cyjrrus Gazefte of the<br />

14th February, 1936, under No. 151.<br />

2. <strong>The</strong> Fund «hall be under the management and<br />

control of the Commissioner of Kyrenia for the time<br />

being.<br />

3. <strong>The</strong> sums so credited shall bc utilized by the<br />

Commissioner for works of public utility within the<br />

village area of Sisklipos.<br />
