MADE UNDER
THE AXTIQUITIES LAW, 1935.

In exercise of the powers vested in him by tbe
Antiquities Law, 1935, His Excellency the Governor,
with the advice of the Executive Council, ha* been
pleased to make and hereby makes the following
Regulations :—
1. Tbese Regulations may be cited as the
Antiquities Fund Regulations, 1936.
2. There shdl be established a Fnnd to be called
"the Antiquities Fond" (in these Regulations
referred to as " the Fund ") in accordance with the
provisions of section 33 (e) of the Law.
3. The fund shall be under the management and
control of the Antiquities Advisory Board (in these
Regulations leferred to as " the Board ").
4. Any legacy, donation or subscription
be(iueathed or paid into the Fund for a specific
purpose shall be expended for such purpose :
Provided that the Board may refuse to accept
any legacy, donation or subscription to which
conditions are attached which, in their opinion, are
not in the interests of archaeology.
5. Any moneys in the Fund other than those
mentioned in regulation 4 of these Regulations may,
upon the recommendation of the Board and subject
M) the approval of the Governor, be expended in the
preservation of any ancient monument or for any
other purpose in the interests of archaeology.

No. 238. Notification under the Tree Planting
ViUage Areas Laws, 1930 and 1935.
TREE PLANTING (SISKLIPOS) FUND.
In exercise of the powers vested in me by the Tree
Planting Village Areas Laws, 1930 and 1935,1 hereby
establish a fund for the village of Sisklipos, in the
District of Kyrenia, (hereinafter called the " Fund "),
into which shall be paid all fines recovered under
the said Laws for offences committed within the Tree
Planting Area of the village of Sisklipos, as described
in the Order of the Governor made the 8th February,
1936, and published in the Cyjrrus Gazefte of the
14th February, 1936, under No. 151.
2. The Fund «hall be under the management and
control of the Commissioner of Kyrenia for the time
being.
3. The sums so credited shall bc utilized by the
Commissioner for works of public utility within the
village area of Sisklipos.
