Whereas it is expedient to amend the boundaries
ofthe Villages of Pyrga and Komos in the district
of Larnaca.
Now, therefore, I, Wilham Denis Battershill,
Acting Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and
over the Colony of Cyprus, by and in virtue of the
power and authority vested in me by the Village
Authorities Laws, 1931 to (No. 2) 1935, and of
every other power and authority enabling me in
that behalf do proclaim and order as follows :—
That as from the 1st day of October, 1936,
the areti described in the Schedule hereto,
which contains the plots enumerated therein,
heretofore reckoned within the boundaries of
the village of Pyrga, shall form part of the
lands of the village of Kornos and that the
boundaries of the said villages of Pyrga and
Kornos be altered accordingly.
VILLAGE OF KORNOS :
SCHEDULE.
Area transferred from the Village Lands of Pyrga
to the Village Lands of Kornos.
The boimdary begins at the most western point
of plot,. No. 110, plan No. XXXIX/64, locality
" Volistafkies," on the eaMern side of the main
road from Nicosia to Limassol, and goes eastw ards
and north-eastwards along the boundaries of plots
Nos. no, 114 and 111 of the same plan to the
stream at the north-eastern corner of plot No. Ill
of the same plan ; thence south-eastwards in a
straight line to the junction of the tributaries
of the stream " Galeftyri" being 2.30 feet
approximately north-east of plot No. 29, plan
No. XLIX/8 ; thence southwards in a straight

line to the most northern point of plot No. 57 of
the same plan, locality " Triantaphylia " ; thence
along the eastern boundary of this plot to the
most southern point of plot No. 58 of the same
plan ; thence south-eastwards in a straight Hne
to the most western point of plot No. 61 of the
same plan; thence south-eastwards along the
eastern boundary of plots Nos. 76 and 77 of the
same plan to the most eastern point of plot No. 77
of the same plan ; thence south-eastwards in a
straight line to the Forest Dehmitation Line of
Stavrovouni Forest ; thence south-westwards
along the Forest Delimitation Line through
Forest Cairns Nos. 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 ; thence in a
straight line joining Forest Cairn No. 1 with
Forest Cairn No. 36, a distance of 380 feet
approximately, where it cuts the boundary of the
village of Kophinou ; thence north-westwards and
south-westwards along this village boundary to
the main road from Nicosia to Limassol; thence
northwards along the eastem side of this main
road to the starting point. This area consists
of the following plots, viz :
