<strong>The</strong>President of the United States of America has a vailed himself of the provisions of the Additional<br />

Protocol to the said Convention by declaring at the time of accession that the first paragraph of Article 2<br />

of the Convention shaU not apply to intemational transportation that may be perfromed by the United-<br />

States of America or any territory or possession under its jurisdiction.<br />
