Wherea> it has been represented to me that it is<br />

desirable to establish an aeroplane landing ground at<br />

the vUlage of Akhyritou in the district of Famagusta :<br />

Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order<br />

of Saint Michael and Saint George, Commander of the<br />

Most ExceUent Order of the British Empire, Govgrnpr<br />

and Commander-in-Chief in and over the Colony of<br />

CypoTis. in virtue of the powers vested in me by the<br />

Land Acqmsition Laws, 1899 and 1928, do hereby<br />

declare the establishment of an aeroplane landing<br />

grotmd, as aforesaid, to be an ondertaking of pnbUc<br />

UtiUty and do hereby authorize the carrying out of<br />

the said undertaking and do hereby entrust to the<br />

Director of PubUc Works the supervision and<br />

eflFectuation of the said undertaking.<br />
