Wherea> it has been represented to me that it is
desirable to establish an aeroplane landing ground at
the vUlage of Akhyritou in the district of Famagusta :
Now, therefore. I. Herl)ert Richmond Palmer,
Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order
of Saint Michael and Saint George, Commander of the
Most ExceUent Order of the British Empire, Govgrnpr
and Commander-in-Chief in and over the Colony of
CypoTis. in virtue of the powers vested in me by the
Land Acqmsition Laws, 1899 and 1928, do hereby
declare the establishment of an aeroplane landing
grotmd, as aforesaid, to be an ondertaking of pnbUc
UtiUty and do hereby authorize the carrying out of
the said undertaking and do hereby entrust to the
Director of PubUc Works the supervision and
eflFectuation of the said undertaking.
Given nnder my hand and seal this 2lst day of
April, 1936.

Quarantine Law. 19o2, or otherwise. His Excellency
the Govemor is pleased to declare and it is hereby
declared that the local areas in the first colunm
of the .Schedule hereto are infected local areas and that
all {^t-seHirers and goods therefrom shall, as from tbe
date hereof, be -ubject to the measures prescribed bv
the Qnarantine Regulations, 1932, with respect to the
