in the form shown therein. <strong>The</strong> Principal<br />

Immigration Officer, if he is of opinion that the<br />

appUcation should be granted, shall prepare a<br />

certificate of immigration in the Form D in the<br />

First S( hedule hereto and sliaU transmit it to the<br />

person named in the appUcation.<br />

9. Every person who desires to enter the<br />

Colony as an immigrant, other than one who<br />

desires to enter as an immigrant of Category B (a)<br />

or (c) or of Category C, may, if he so desires when<br />

appl3ing for permission for his own entry into the<br />

Colony, make appUcation also for permission to<br />

bring one or more dependants into the CJolony<br />

with him ; and, if a certificate of immigration is<br />

granted to the appUcant himself, the Principal<br />

Immigration Officer may, if he is satisfied that the<br />

appUcation is a proper one, grant to him also<br />

permission, which shaU be recorded on the said<br />

certificate of immigration, to bring with him, on<br />

his entry into the Colony, one or more of the<br />

dependants on whose behalf he made appUcation.<br />

It). <strong>The</strong> amoimt of the fee payable in accordance<br />

with section 12 (6) of the Law shall be one pound<br />

in the case of every person of sixteen years or<br />

over, and five shillings in respect of every person<br />

below that age.<br />

11. Every aUen entering the Colony, not being<br />

an aUen to whom regulation 4 appUes, shall make<br />

and sign a declaration in the Form A of the Second<br />

Schedule hereto.<br />

12. An Immigration Officer who decides that a<br />

person is a prohibited immigrant shaU serve him<br />

with a notice in the Form B of the Second Schedule<br />

bereto.<br />
