a reformatory for the purposes of the said Law

BYE-LAWS MADE BY THE COUXCIL OF THE
MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF FAMAGUSTA.
In e\erci.sc of the powers vestetl in them by the
Muniiipal Corporations Laws. 1930 and 1934, and
otherwise, the CouncU ofthe Municipal Corporation
of FamaLnista hereby make the foUowing Byelaws
:—
1. These Bye-laws may be cited as the Municipal
(Jorporation (Fainauusta) Amendment Bye-laws,
1936, and shaU be read as one with the Municipal
Corporation(Famajiu-^ta)Bye-laws. 1931 to (No. 4)
ll>35. (hereinaftei tailed *" the Principal Byelaws
'"). and the Principal Bye-law s and these Byelaws
may toiiether be cited as the Municipal
Corporation (Faniagusta) Bye-laws. 1931 to 1936.
2. The follow iug bye-law sliaU be inserted in the
Principal Bve-laws immediatelv after bye-law
160c theieof':
" 160D.—(1) The passing of any motor lorrj-,
cart or animal along the street known as " Tourist
Road,' commencing at the Karpas Road near
the former site of EUa and St. Barnabas' Fairs
and continuing along the outer edge of the Moat
as far as Del Mozzo Bastion, then into the
Moat, and ending at Diamante Bastion, in
either direction, is hereby prohibited.
(2) The Council shall place or cause to be
placed {fct the ends of the street in paragraph
(1) hereof mentioned and at such other parts
thereof as they may consider necessary sign
posts bearing thereon the tollowing words in
KiiL'ish. Greek and Turkish :—
' The passing of motor lorries, carts and
animals is prohibited."
(3) lu this bye-law the term " motor lorry '
means an\ motor vehicle constructed to carry
more than six persons, exclusive of the driver
thereof, and their personal baggage, and includes
any motor vehicle known as lorry constructed
or used for carryinu a mixed load of passengers
and goods or a load of good-.
(4) Xothing in this bye-law contained shaU
apply to any motor lorry, cart vi animal used
bv the Municipal (Orporation."
