THE TREE PLANTING VILLAGE AREAS

Whereas at a meeting duly convened and held
at the viUage of Pretori, in the District of Paphos,
on the Hth day of July, 1935, it was determined
by the voters present thereat that a certain area
should be reserved as the Tree Planting Area of the
viUage of Pretori:
And whereas at the said meeting the boundaries
of the said area have been fixed and described:
And whereas the Mukhtar of the viUage of
Pretori has forwarded to the Commissioner of the
District of Paphos a report, signed and sealed
by him, containing a description with boundaries
of the said area and stating that the said area
fulfils the conditions in section 10 (4) of the Tree
Planting ViUage Areas Law, 1930, prescribed :
And whereas the said Commissioner has transmitted
the said report, together with his recommendations,
to the Colonial Secretary for the
consideration of the Govemor :
And whereas the Governor considers it expedient,
having regard to all the circumstances, that the
area in the said report described should be reserved
as the Tree Planting Area of the vUlage of Pretori.
Now, therefore, His ExceUency the Governor,
injexercise of the powers vested in him by the
Tree Planting ViUage Areas Laws, 1930 to 1936,
is pleased to order and it is hereby ordered as
foUows:—
The area described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby declared to be and sbaU be reserved as

the Tree Planting Area of the village of Pretori
in the District of Paphos.

of Kedhares to the vUlage of Philousa, which

of Pretori, and goes north-eastwards along this
vUlage boundary excluding from the reserved

Philousa to the village of Ayios Nikolaos; thence
north-eastwards along this road to the northwestern
