THE TREE PLANTING VILLAGE AREAS
LAWS, 1930 TO 1936.

Acting Governor.
Whereas at a meeting duly convened and held
at the village of Alethriko, in the District of
Lamaca, on the 25th day of March, 1936, it was
determined by the requisite majority of the
voters present thereat that a certain area should
be reserved as the Tree Planting Area of the
village of Alethriko:
^ And whereas at the said meeting the boundaries
of the said area have been fixed and described :
And whereas the Mukhtar of the village of
Alethriko has forwarded to the Commissioner of
the District of Lamaca a report, signed and sealed
by him, containing a description with boundaries
of the said area and stating that the said area
falfils the conditions in section 10 (4) of the Tree
Planting Village Areas Laws, 1930 to 1936,
prescribed:
And whereas the said Conmiissioner has transmitted
the said report, together with his recommendations,
to the Colomal Secretary for the
consideration of the Acting Govemor :
And whereas the Acting Govemor considers it
expedient, having regard to all the circumstances,
that the area in the said report described should
be reserved as the Tree Planting Area of the
village of Alethriko :
Now, therefore, His Excellencj' the Acting
Govemor, in exercise of the powers vested in him
by the Tree Planting Village Areas Laws, 1930 to
1936, is pleased to order and it is hereby ordered
as follows :—
The area described in the Schedule hereto
is hereby declared to be and shall be reserved
as the Tree Planting Area of the village of
Alethriko in the District of Lamaca.
'SCHEDULE. . .
The area lying within the following boimdaries
that is to say :—
The bomidary begins, at the south-eastern
comer of the bridge OVOT the river of the village
( of Alethriko, plot No. 250, plan No. L/27, and
goes south-eastwards along the right bank
of this river to the most southem point oF
plot No. 154, plan Xo. L/35, locaHty " Kanoura,'*
on the boundary between the village of Alethriko
and the village of Kivisil; thence south-westwards
along this vUlage boundary as far as
the junction of footpaths at the most southem
point of plot Xo. 298 of the same plan; thence
westwards along a footpath to the road from
the village of Anaphotia to the village of Alethriko
at the south-westem comer of plot No. 292
of the same plan ; thence north-eastwards
along this road to the starting point.
The area reserved comprises 1,154 donums
approximately, as shown edged in red on the
plan filed in D.L.R.S. M.P. 230/36.

Limassol, on the Sth day of December, 1935, it
was determined by the requisite majority of
the voters present thereat that a certain area
should be reserved as the Tree Planting Area
of the village of Ypsonas :
And whereas at the said meeting the boundanes
of the said area have been fixed and described :
And whereas the Mukhtar of the village of
Ypsonas has forwarded to the Commissioner of
the District of Limassol a report, signed and sealed
by him, containing a description with boundaries
of the said area and stating that the said area
fulfils the conditions in section 10 (4) of the Tree
Planting Village Areas Laws, 1930 and 1935,
prescribed:
And whereas the said Commissioner has transmitted
the said report, together with his recommendations,
to the Colonial Secretary for the
ocmsideration of the Acting Grov^nor:
And whereas the Acting Govemor considers it
expedient, having regard to all the circtraistances,.
