THE IMPORTATION OF TEXTILES (QUOTAS)
LAW, 1934.

In exercise of the power.s vested in him by the
Importation of Textiles (Quotas) Law, 1934,
His Excellency the Govemor bas been pleased to
make and hereby makes the following Regulations
:—
1. These Regidations may be cited as the
Importation of Textiles (Quotas) Amendment
Regulations, 1936, and shall be read as one with
the Importation of Textiles (Quotas) Regulations,
1934 to (No. 3) 1935, (hereinafter called
" the Principal Regulations "), and the Principal
Regulations and these Regulations may
together be cited as the Importation of Textiles
(Quotas) Regulations, 1934 to 1936.
2. Regulation 7 (3) ofthe Principal Regulations
is hereby amended by the insertion of the
following words at the end thereof —
" Batley
Bolton
Carlisle
Preston
Dundee
Northampton
Southampton."

The Right Honourable the Secretary of State for
the Colonies has intimated that His Majesty will
not be advised to exercise his power of disallowance
with regard to the following Laws enacted by His
Excellency the Governor and Commander-in-Chief of
the Colony of Cyprus :—
No. 41 of 1935.—A Law to consolidate and amend
the law relating to Antiquities. (M.P. 985/34/4.)
No. 8 of 1936.—A Law to provide for the reaction
in the Colony of probates and letters of administration
granted in other parts of His Majesty's
Dominions or by a British Court in a foreign
country. (M.P. 1115/35.)
