In exercise of the powers vested in him by the<br />

Medical Registration Law, 1936, His Excellency the<br />

4Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council,<br />

is pleased to declare the medical degrees granted by<br />

the Universities of Athens, Istanbul, and Cairo, and<br />

by the American University of Beirut to be recognized<br />

a qualification for the purposes of section 7 of the<br />

said Law.<br />

Forest Law, 1879, and with the advice of the Executive<br />

Council, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased<br />

to order and it is hereby ordered that as from the date<br />

hereof the following Forests shall cease to be under the<br />

protection, control and management of the Government,<br />

that is to say :—<br />

<strong>The</strong> Forests of Boghaz and Monarga in the<br />

District of Famagusta.<br />

THE BURIALS LAW, 1896.<br />

Governor.<br />

Whereas the burial-ground situated in the villageof<br />

Kapedhes, District of Nicosia, now in use by the<br />

Orthodox-Christian Community for the burial of the<br />

dead, is dangerous to the health of the said village :<br />

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers vested in<br />

him by section 1 of t^lie Burials Law, 1896, His<br />

Excellency the Governor has been pleased to order and<br />

hereby orders that a new burial-ground, in substitution<br />

for the burial-ground now in use as aforesaid, shall be<br />

provided under the provisions of the said Law.<br />

Made at Nicosia, this Ilth day of November,<br />
