A LAW FURTHER TO AMEND THE LICENSING LAW, 1889.

BE it enacted by His Excellency the Officer Administering
the Govemment and Commander-in-Chief of
the Colony of Cjrprus as foUows :—
1. This Law may be cited as the Licensing (Amendment) short title.
Law, 1936, and shall be read as one with the Licensing lo of issd.
Laws, 1889 to 1934, (hereinafter caUed " the Principal 20 of 1926.

2. Section 21 of the Principal Law is hereby repealed Repeal of

to extend, by special permit under his hand,
the time during which any premises on which
intoxicating liquors are sold by retaU may
remain open on any night specified in such
special permit upon payment of such fee, not
exceeding two shillings for every hour, as may
be prescribed by the Order.
(3) Where a special permit has been granted by
the Commissioner under sub-section (2), notwithstanding
anything in this Law contained it
shaU be lawful for the licensed person during
the currency of his licence to seU on any night
specified in such special permit intoxicating
Uquors by retail on the Ucensed premises during
the extended time specified therein."
