In continuation of our report of last year, published in the Cyprus Gazette No. 2469 of the 11th of October,
1935, we have the honour to submit the Income Account for the year ended the 30th of June, 1936, together with
Jihe Balance Sheet as at that date.
2. At the 30th of June, 1936, the number of officere guaranteed by the Fund was 883, as compared with
'727 for the previous year.
3. No defalcations have been reported during the year, and in accordance with section 29 of the Public
Officere' Guarantee Fund Laws, 1896 to 1933, the whole of the income for the year has been carried to
the credit of the contributors in the ratio of the amounts standing to their respective credits at the close ofthe
financial year.
4. In conformity with Colonial Regulation 275, the investments held on account of the Fund
have lieen re-valued at middle market prices in London at the 30tli of June, 1936. The depreciation and loss
on disposal of investments, which amounted to £125. 9s. op. has been met from the Reserve for depreciation
of investments.
