SUPPLEMENT
TO
THE CYPRUS GAZETTE No. 2503 OP 23RD MARCH, 1936.
A BILL
ENTITLED
A LAW FURTHER TO AMEND THE CUSTOMS AND EXCISE
REGULATION LAWS.
BE it enacted by His Excellency the Govemor and
Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Cyprus as
follows:—
1. This Law may be cited as the Customs and Excise Short title.
Regulation (Amendment) Law, 1936, and shaU be read as one 24 of 1879.
with the Customs and Excise Regulation Laws, 1879 to ^e of 1928
(No. 3) 1930, (hereinafter called "the Principal Law"), 26of 1928!
and the Principal Law and this Law may together be cited 5 of 1939]
as the Customs and Excise Regulation Laws, 1879 to 1936. 36 of 1930.
2. Section 63 of the Principal Law is hereby repealed Repeal of

(a) prohibit the exportation of any goods
or animals;
(b) place restrictions or impose conditions on
the exportation of any goods or animals."
3. Section 64 of the Principal Law is hereby amended Amendment
by the deletion of the words " or any animals in of £^24
contravention of any Order" and by the substitution «* 1^79.
therefor of the words " or any goods or animals in
contravention of any Order in Council".
Objects and Beacons.
The object of this Bill is to empower the Govemor in
Council to prohibit the exportation of animals as weU as
goods or place restrictions or impose conditions in connection
with the exportation of the same.
