Whereas by certain Letters Patent bearing<br />

date at Westminster the 10th day of March, 1925,<br />

provision was made for the Govemment of the<br />

Colony of <strong>Cyprus</strong> :<br />

And whereas by the said Letters Patent full<br />

power was reserved to His late Majesty King<br />

George the Fifth, His Heirs and Successors, with<br />

the advice of His or <strong>The</strong>ir Privy Council, from<br />

time to time to make all such laws as might<br />

appear to Him or <strong>The</strong>m necessary for the peace,<br />

order and good govenmient of the Colony :<br />

And whereas it is expedient to repeal the Orders<br />

Council hereinafter mentioned :<br />

Now, therefore. His Majesty, by virtue and<br />

in exercise of the powers in this behalf in Him<br />

vested, is pleased, by and with the advice of<br />

His Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered<br />

as follows :—<br />

1. This Order may be cited as <strong>The</strong> <strong>Cyprus</strong><br />

Extradition (Repeal) Order in Council, 1936.<br />

2. <strong>The</strong> <strong>Cyprus</strong> Extradition Order in Council,<br />

1881, the Cypma Extradition Order in Council,<br />

1895, and the <strong>Cyprus</strong> Extradition Order in Council,<br />

1895, No. 2, are hereby repealed.<br />

Public Health (Villages) Law, 1892, and otherwise.<br />

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of<br />

the Executive Council, has been pleased to order and<br />

it is hereby ordered that the said Law shall be appUed<br />

as from the date hereof to the following village,<br />

namely :—<br />

<strong>The</strong> village of Galini in the District of Nicosia.<br />

In exercise of the powers vested in him by<br />

the Customs, E.xcise and Revenue Law, 1899, and<br />

otherwise. His Excellency the Governor, with the<br />

advice of the Executive Council, has been pleased to<br />

order and it is hereby ordered as follows :—<br />

From and after the date hereof appliances and<br />

equipment certified by the Chief Veterinary Officer<br />

as being imported for the humane slaughtering of<br />

animals shall be admitted into the Colony free from<br />

all dnties of Customs whatsoever.<br />

Ordered in Conncil, this 3rd day of March,<br />

1986.<br />
