The area of this quarter comprises 22,199
donums approximately, as shown edged in green
on the plan, serial No. 1062, filed in D.L.R,S,

THE TREE PLANTING VILLAGE AREAS

Whereas at a meeting duly convened and held
at the viiiage of Kato Dluys, in the District
of Larnaca, on the Mh day of December, 1936,
it was determuied by the voters present thereat
that a certain area should be res^ved as the Tree
Planting Area of the \'illage of Kato Dhrys :
And whereas at the said meeting the boundaries
of the said area have been fixed and described ;
And whereas the Mukhtar of the vUiage of
Kato Dhrys has forwarded to the Oommissioner
of the District ot Larnaca a report, irigned and
sealed by him, containing a desoription with
boundaries of the said area and stating that the
aaid area fulfils the conditions in section 10(4)
of the Tree Planting Village Areas Laws, 1930,
and 1935, prescribed :
Given at Nicosia, this 10th day of June, 1936.

Boundaries of Ayia Paraskevi Quarter.
The boimdary begins at the most northern point
of plot Xo, 148, plan No, XX/17, on the main road
from Morphou to Myrtou and on the boundary
ofthe village of Morphou, and goes south-eastwards
and south-westwards along this village boundary
to the most northern point of plot Xo. 256, plan
No. XX 41, on the river " Komitis " ; thence northwestwards
down this river to the northern boundary
of the Cyprus Govemment Railway Une ; thence
north-eastwards along the northern boundary of
the Railway line to the main road from Nicosia
to Morphou ; thence north-westwards along this
main road to the most southern point of plot
No. 1210 of Morphou village plan (piece No. 9),
where this road forks ; thence north-west wards
along the more western of the two roads to the
most western point of plot No. 1240 of the same
plan (piece No. 9), on a road from Ayia Paraskevi
Church to Ghaziveran ; thence northwards, crossing
this road and continuing along another road to the
most western point of plot No. 1036 of the same
plan (piece No. 3) ; thence eastwards along another
road to the most eastem point of plot Xo. 1046
of the same plan (piece No. 3), on the road from
Ayia Paraskevi Church to the school (Greek Girls);
thence north-westwards along this road to the
north-western corner of plot No. 1001 of the same
plan (piece No. 3) ; thence eastwards along another
road on the southern boundaries of plots Nos. 904,
921 of the same plan (piece No. 6), and the south
eastern boundaries of plots Nos. 930. 661, of the
same plan (piece No. 6), to the junction of roads
at the most eastem point of plot No. 657 ofthe same
plan (piece No. 6) ; thence north-westwards along
another road on the eastern boundary of plot
No. 638 of the same plan (piece No. 3) and 604 of
the same plan (piece No. 4) to the main road from
Morphou to Myrtou; thence north-eastwards,
crossing the river " Serakhis," along this road to
the starting point.
The area of this quarter comprises 5,385 donums
approximately, as shown edged in yellow on the
plan, serial No. 1062, filed im D.L.R.S.

And whereas the said Commissioner has transmitted
the said report, together witii his recommendations,
to the Colonial Secretary for the
consideration of the Govemw :
And whereas the Govemor considers it expedient,
having regard to all the circumstances, that the
area in the said report described shouki be reserved
as the Tree Planting Area of the village of Kato
Dhrys.
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor,
in exercise of the powers vested in him by the
Tree Planting Village Areas Laws, 1930 to 1936,
is pleased to order and it is herebj- ordered as
follows :—
The area described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby declared to be and shall be reserved as
the Tree Planting Area of the village of Kato
Dhrys in the Distriot of Larnaea.
