The liight Honourable the Secretary of State for
the Colonies has intimated that His Majesty will
not be advised to exercise his power of disnllowance
with regard to the following Law enacted by His
Excellency the Governor and Commander-in-Chief of
the Colony of Cyprus :—
No. 1 of 1936.—A Law to amend the Tree Planting
Village Areas Laws, 1930 and 1935.

Distriet of Limassol under the Goats
Laws, 1913 to 1935.
In exercise of the powers vested in me by the Goats
Laws, 1913 to 1935, I, Leslie Stuart Greening,
Commissioner of the District of Limassol, do hereby
order that the village of Ayios loannis, in the District
of Limassol, shall be a prescribed village within the
meaning of the Goats Laws, 19lo to 1935.

The attention of the public is invited to the
Xotification made on the 17tli January, 1936, by
His Excellency the Oovernor pursuant to the
Quarantine Law, 19;32, and published in the Cyprus
Gazeffe of the 17th January, 1936, whereby it was
declared that the folk»wing local areas were infected
local areas and that all passengers and goods therefrom
would be subject to the measures prescribed by the
Quarantine Pegulations, 1932, with respect to the
dangerous infectious diseases set forth against each
local area :—

these numbers are not valid. If such are tendered to
them the fact should be reported to the nearest Police
Station.
