A LAW TO APPROPRIATE A SUM NOT EXCEEDING SIX
HUNDRED AND SEVENTY-NINE THOUSAND TWO
HUNDRED AND THIRTY-ONE POUNDS TO THE SERVICE
OF THE TWELVE MONTHS ENDING THE THIRTY-FIRST
DAY -OF DECEMBER, IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD

WHEREAS it is necessary to make provision for such Preamble.
expenses of the Govemment of C^nis for the year
ending the thirty-first day of December, 1936, as are not
abready lawfuUy provided for or shaU not hereafter be
provided for by any Law.
BE it therefore enacted by His ExceUency the Govemor
and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Cjrprus as
foUows:—
1. This Law may be cited as the Appropriation Law, short title.
1936.
2. In addition to the sums already lawfuUy appropriated Appropnato
the service of the King or which may be hereafter £6?9°23i
lawfuUy appropriated thereto, there shaU be issued and
appUed to the service of the twelve months ending the
thirty-first day of December, 1936, out of the revenue and
other funds of the Colony, any sum not exceeding the sum
of Six Hundred and Seventy-Nine Thousand Two Hundred
and Thirty-One Pounds for defrajdng the charge of the
Government of Cyprus for such period.
3. A sum not exceeding the amount set down under Limitation
each head in the Schedule hereto may be issued and spent jJ be^i'^t
in respect of the EstabUshment or Service specified and on Personal
referred to therein; provided that the total sum spent mTnt^
on Personal Emoluments during the year, appropriated
under this Law, shaU not exceed the sum of Two Hundred
and Fifty-Seven Thousand and Five Pounds.
