use of the Public Seal.
His Excellency the Governor has directed the
publication for general information of the following
Warrant of His Majesty the King transmitted by the
Itiglit Honourable the Secretary of State for the

To Our Trusty and Well-beloved the Governor
or Ofticer Administering the Government of Our
Colony of Cyprus.

Our Will and Pleasure is and We do herel )y
authorize and empower you to make use of the Public
S^dl lately in use within Our Colony of Cyprus for
sealing all things whatsoever that are used to be sealed
therewith until another Seal shall be prepared and
transmitted to you duly authorized by Us.
And for so doing this shall be your Warrant.
Given at Our Court at St. James's this Twelfth
day of March, 1936, in the First Year of
Our, Reign.

In e.xercise of the powers \estt'd in hitn by
the Customs, Excise and Revenue Law, 1N;)1), His
Kxcellency the Governor, with the advice of the
Executive Council, has been pleased to order and
herebv orders as follows :—
Flax yarn imported into the Colony from any
part of the British Empire, within the period of
one year from the date hereof, by any owner of a
factory for the weaving of cloth therefrom, shall be
admitted into the Colony free from all dutiesi of
Customs whatsoever.
Ordered in Council, this 18th day of April, 1936.

THE TREE PLANTING VILLAGE AREAS
LAWS, 1930 TO 1936.

Wliereas at a meeting duly convened and held
at the village of Asomatos, in the District of
Kyrenia, on the 29th day of September, 1935, it
was determined by the requisite majority of the
voters present thereat that a certain area should
be reserved as the Tree Planting Area of the village
of Asomatos :
And whereas at the said meeting the boundaries
of the said area have been fixed and described :
And wher^ tjie Mukhtar of the, vj}Iage of
Asomatos has forwarded to the Commissioner of
the District of Kyrenia a report, signed and sealed
by him, containing a description with boundaries
of the said area and stating that the said area
fulfils the conditions in section 10 (4) of the Tree
Planting Village Areas Laws, 1930 and 1935,
prescribed :
And whereas the said Commissioner has transmitted
the said report, together with his recommendations,
to the Colonial Secretary for the
consideration of the Governor :
And w herea.s the Governor considers it expedient,
having regard to all the circumstances, that the
