use of the Public Seal.<br />

His Excellency the Governor has directed the<br />

publication for general information of the following<br />

Warrant of His Majesty the King transmitted by the<br />

Itiglit Honourable the Secretary of State for the<br />

To Our Trusty and Well-beloved the Governor<br />

or Ofticer Administering the Government of Our<br />

Colony of <strong>Cyprus</strong>.<br />

Our Will and Pleasure is and We do herel )y<br />

authorize and empower you to make use of the Public<br />

S^dl lately in use within Our Colony of <strong>Cyprus</strong> for<br />

sealing all things whatsoever that are used to be sealed<br />

therewith until another Seal shall be prepared and<br />

transmitted to you duly authorized by Us.<br />

And for so doing this shall be your Warrant.<br />

Given at Our Court at St. James's this Twelfth<br />

day of March, 1936, in the First Year of<br />

Our, Reign.<br />

In e.xercise of the powers \estt'd in hitn by<br />

the Customs, Excise and Revenue Law, 1N;)1), His<br />

Kxcellency the Governor, with the advice of the<br />

Executive Council, has been pleased to order and<br />

herebv orders as follows :—<br />

Flax yarn imported into the Colony from any<br />

part of the British Empire, within the period of<br />

one year from the date hereof, by any owner of a<br />

factory for the weaving of cloth therefrom, shall be<br />

admitted into the Colony free from all dutiesi of<br />

Customs whatsoever.<br />

Ordered in Council, this 18th day of April, 1936.<br />

THE TREE PLANTING VILLAGE AREAS<br />

LAWS, 1930 TO 1936.<br />

Governor.<br />

Wliereas at a meeting duly convened and held<br />

at the village of Asomatos, in the District of<br />

Kyrenia, on the 29th day of September, 1935, it<br />

was determined by the requisite majority of the<br />

voters present thereat that a certain area should<br />

be reserved as the Tree Planting Area of the village<br />

of Asomatos :<br />

And whereas at the said meeting the boundaries<br />

of the said area have been fixed and described :<br />

And wher^ tjie Mukhtar of the, vj}Iage of<br />

Asomatos has forwarded to the Commissioner of<br />

the District of Kyrenia a report, signed and sealed<br />

by him, containing a description with boundaries<br />

of the said area and stating that the said area<br />

fulfils the conditions in section 10 (4) of the Tree<br />

Planting Village Areas Laws, 1930 and 1935,<br />

prescribed :<br />

And whereas the said Commissioner has transmitted<br />

the said report, together with his recommendations,<br />

to the Colonial Secretary for the<br />

consideration of the Governor :<br />

And w herea.s the Governor considers it expedient,<br />

having regard to all the circumstances, that the<br />
