In exercise ofthe powers fested in the Govemor<br />

by the Customs Law, 1936, His ExceHency the<br />

Acting Govemor, with the adviee of the Executive<br />

CouncU, has been pleased to order and it is hereby<br />

ordered as foUows :—<br />

1. That the preferential rate of import<br />

duties shaU in the case of manufactured tobacco<br />

be charged only in respect of such proportion of<br />

Buch tobacco as corresponds to the proportion<br />

of dutiable material used in its manufacture<br />

which is shown to the satisfaction of the<br />

Comptroller to have been grown or produced<br />

in the British Empire.<br />

2. <strong>The</strong> Order in CouncU No. 800, dated the<br />

14th day of July, 1920, and pubUshed under<br />

Notification No. 387 in the Oazette ofthe 16th day<br />

of July, 1920, is hereby revoked.<br />
