THE TREE PLAXTING VILLAGE AREAS
LAWS, 1930 TO 1936.

Govemor.
Whereas at a meeting duly convened and held
at thevillage of Moniatis. in the District of Limassol,
on the 17th day of Xovember, 1935, it was
determined bj' the voters jiresent thereat that a
certain area shonld hc^ reserved as the Tree Planting
Area of the vil!,.ge of Moniatis :
And \N hereas at the said meeting the boundaries
of the said area have been fixed and described :
And whereas the Mukhtar of the village of
Moniatis has forwarded to the Commissioner of
the District of Limassol a report, signed and sealed
by him. containing a description A\ith boundaries
of the said area and stating that the said area
fulfils the conditions in section 10 (4) of the Tree
Planting Village Areas Laws, 1930, and 1935,
prescribed :
And whereas the said Commissioner has transmitted
the said report, together with his recommendations,
to the Colonial Secretarv for the
consideration of the Governor :
And whereas the Governor considers it expedient,
having regard to all the circumstances, that the
area in the said report described should be reserved
as the Tree Planting Area of the village of ^loniatis.
Xow, therefore. His Excellency the Governor,
in exercise of the powers vested in him b\' the
Tree Planting Village Areas Laws, 1930 to 1936,
is pleased tri order and it is hereby ordered as
follow^ :—
The a reel described in the Schedule hereto is
here'.jy declared to be and shall be reserved as
the Tree Planting Area of the village of Moniatis
in the District of Limassol.
SCHEDULE.
The area lying within the following boundaries,
that is to say :—
The boundary begins at the most western
point of plot No. 305, plan No. XLVll/21, locaUty
*' Lekanes," on the right bank of the river
• Messapotamos," and goes south-eastwards
along the right bank of this river to the river
' Amiandos " which forms part of the boundary
of tlie village of Moniatis; thence southwestwards
along the right bank of this river to
the .nost southem point of plot Xo. 47, plan
Xo. A!ATI/2!), locahty " Mbraimidhes," on a
tributary of the river " Amiandos " ; thence
north-west wards along the left bank of this
tributarv to the south-westem corner of plot
No. 137,*plan Xo. XLVII 21, locaUty " Saittas " ;
thence northwards passing along the boundaries
of. and including in the reserved area, plots
Xos. 137, 187, 184, 183, 176, 173, 172, 171, 162,
170, 169, 168, 166, 167, 238, 237, 236, 235, 234,
245, 2«)4, 277, 278, 279 and 305 of the same plan,
to the starting point.
The area reserved comprises 715 donums
approximately, as shoNvn edged in red on the plan
filed in D.L.R.S. M.P. 703/35.

at the villaLje of Kilinia. in the District of Paphoa,
on the 26th day of May. 1935, it w as determined by
the requisite majorit>- of the voters ])resent thereat
that a I ert ain area shoukl be reserved as the
Tree Planting Area ofthe village of Kilinia :
And whereas at the said meeting the boundaries
of the said area have been fixed and described :
And whereas the Mukhtar of the Village of
Kilinia has forwarded to the Commissioner of the
District of Paphos a report, signed and sealed
by him, containing a description with boundaries
of the said area and stating that the said area
fulfils the conditions in section 10 (4) of the Tree
Planting A'illage Areas Law, 1930, prescribed :
And whereas the said Coramissioner has transmitted
the said report, together with his recommendations,
to the Colonial Secretary for the
consideration of the Governor :
And w hereas the Governor considers it expedient,
having regard to all the circumstances, that the
area in the said report described should be reserved
as the Tree Planting Area of the village of KiUnia :
Xow, therefore. His Excellency the Govemor,
in exercise of the powers vested in him bv the
Tree Plantmg ViUage Areas Laws, 1930 to 1936,
is pleased to order and it is hereby ordered as
follows :—
The area described in the Schedule hereto is
hereby declared to be and shall be reserved as
the Tree Planting Area of the village of Kilinia
in the District of Paphos.
SCHEDULE.
The area lying within the foUowing boundaries,
that is to say :—
The boundary begins at the most eastem
point of plot No. 301, plan No. XLVI/3, locahty
" Vrysia," on a footpath and on the boundary
of the vUlage of KiUnia, and goes westwards
and south-westwards along this footpath
including in the reserved area plots Xos. 301,
298, 294, 292, 288, 205, 206, 202, 210, 211, 214,
215, 226, 225, 220, 221, ofthe same plan, locaUty
• Rothesia," plots Nos. 488, 489, 490, 492,
495, 499, 500, 507, 506, plan No. XLVI/2, plots
Xos. 963, 964, 967, 987, to the most eastern point
of plot Xo. 987, plan No. XLVI/10, locality
" Plevra" ; thence south-westwards passing
along the boundaries of, and including in the
reserved area, plots Nos. 986, 990,991,1006,1013
1041, 1040, 1039, 1038, 1032, 1033, 1088, 1091,
1095, 1102, 1103, of the same plan, plots
Xos. 2(i3 and265 to the most southern point of plot
No. 265, plan No. XLVI/U, locaUty " Laona,"
on the boundary of the viUage of KiUnia ; thence
north-westwards along this village boundary
to the starting point.
The area reserved comprises 842 donums
approximately, as shown edged in red on the plan
filed in the D.L.R.S. M.P. 389/35.
