MADE UNDER
THE CUSTOMS LAW, 1936.
In exercise of the powers vested in him by the
Customs Law, 1936, His Excellency the Governor,
with the advice of the Executive Council, has been
pleased to order and it is hereby ordered as follows:—
1. This Order may be cited as the Prohibited
Exports (Forest Products) Order, 1936.
2. From and after the date hereof the exportation
of all timber, charcoal, firewood, bark, tar, pitch or
resin being the produce of the Colony is prohibited
save under the authority of a licence granted by the
Conservator of Forests and subject to such terms
and conditions as may be prescribed in such licence.
Made in Council, this 2nd day of November,
1936.

The Right Honourable the Secretary of State for
the Colonies has intimated that His Majesty will not
be advised to exercise his power of disaUowance with
regard to the following Law : —
No. 25 of 1936.—A Law to provide for the protection
in the Colony of designs registered in the United

Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of
Cyprus, is published for general information in a
supplement to this gazette :—
No. 37 of 1936.—A Law to prevent the unauthorized

His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to
make the foUowing appointment:—
M. Munir Bey, O.B.E., to be au Additional Member
of the Executive Council of the Colony of Cyprus
for a period of three years, from the 28th of October,
