THE CUSTOMS LAW, 1936.<br />

In exercise of the powers vested in him by the<br />

Customs Law, 1936, His Excellency the Governor,<br />

with the advice of the Executive Council, has been<br />

pleased to order and it is hereby ordered as follows:—<br />

1. This Order may be cited as the Prohibited<br />

Exports (Forest Products) Order, 1936.<br />

2. From and after the date hereof the exportation<br />

of all timber, charcoal, firewood, bark, tar, pitch or<br />

resin being the produce of the Colony is prohibited<br />

save under the authority of a licence granted by the<br />

Conservator of Forests and subject to such terms<br />

and conditions as may be prescribed in such licence.<br />

Made in Council, this 2nd day of November,<br />

1936.<br />

<strong>The</strong> Right Honourable the Secretary of State for<br />

the Colonies has intimated that His Majesty will not<br />

be advised to exercise his power of disaUowance with<br />

regard to the following Law : —<br />

No. 25 of 1936.—A Law to provide for the protection<br />

in the Colony of designs registered in the United<br />

Kingdom. (M.P. 947/28/2.)<br />

<strong>The</strong> following Law, enacted by His Excellency the<br />

Governor and Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of<br />

<strong>Cyprus</strong>, is published for general information in a<br />

supplement to this gazette :—<br />

No. 37 of 1936.—A Law to prevent the unauthorized<br />

His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to<br />

make the foUowing appointment:—<br />

M. Munir Bey, O.B.E., to be au Additional Member<br />

of the Executive Council of the Colony of <strong>Cyprus</strong><br />

for a period of three years, from the 28th of October,<br />
