(9) Where, in any enquiry, the preparation of a plan is required, the fees prescribed<br />

under Head 10 shall be taken, in addition to the above charges.<br />

Where the enquiry necessitates a visit to more than one viUage, the charge of 5^. and<br />

4|cjp. for each parcel of property or assessment examined shall be levied in respect of each<br />

village visited.<br />

Where in any proceedings in Court a Local Enquiry is directed to be made, or any party<br />

in the action requests an enquiry, the sum deposited in Court (which is to cover the cost of<br />

making the enquiry) or, where no sum has been deposited in Court, the charge hereinbefore<br />

appointed shall be paid into the District Treasury to the credit of Enquiry Reimbursements,<br />

when, after the Enquiry, either party in the action, summons the Local Enquiry Clerk to<br />

give evidence before the Court, a deposit shall be made sufficient to cover the travelling<br />

expenses and loss of time of the Clerk attending the Court. Such enquiries will ordinarily<br />

be made by the permanent Enquiry Clerk in due course ; but, in special and urgent cases, a<br />

special officer may be employed on payment of such extra charge as the Direetor of Land<br />

Registration and Surveys may determine. Where the summons requires only the production<br />

of documents, or the giving of evidence based on records in the office, the charge of 3s. should<br />

be levied if the service can be rendered by an officer in the District Office. If it involves the<br />

bringing in of an officer from the District or another part of the Island, a sum should be taken<br />

sufficient to cover his travelling expenses and loss of time so far as they can be calculated.<br />

In every case the payment should be regarded as final aLd may be brought to account at once,<br />

no refund being made in any circumstance.<br />

Survey Fees.<br />

16. For the services of a Purveyor and Chainman and time<br />

spent on computation and preparation of plans £1 per day.<br />

Declarations of Sale and Mortgage.<br />

17. For every declaration under Law 19 of 1890, made in a<br />

District other than that in which the property is situate.. Is. for each declaration.<br />

18. <strong>The</strong> Table of Fees and Charges, dated the 1st November, 1920, published in the<br />

<strong>Cyprus</strong> Gau'tte No. 1458 of the 1st November, 1920, under Notification No. 586, is<br />

hereby cancelled.<br />
