Pennsylvania Information Management System Pennsylvania Department of Education Staff Template (95 Fields) Template Number: 0330 Target Table: STAFF Template Description This template is meant to reflect the current professional employee situation – there is only one record for each professional employee, even if the employee has worked in more than one location within the LEA for a given collection period. School security staff, including directly employed or contracted school police officers, school resource officers and school security officers, will be collected using this template starting in school year 2009-2010. These staff members are to be reported during the June 1 – 30 Safe Schools reporting window. During this submission only the fields listed below are required. All security staff members for the entire school year should be reported during this window, even if the individual is no longer working as a security officer at the end of the school year. Fields required during the June 1 – June 30 Safe Schools reporting window: • District Code (1) • Staff ID (2) • Location Code (14) • Staff Qualification Status Code (48) • First Name Long (65) • Last Name Long (66) • Authorized to Carry Weapon Indicator (95) If an LEA has no directly employed or contracted security staff a record indicating this must be entered in the District Fact template. Please refer to this section. Submission of school security staff is not required until the June 1 – June 30 Safe Schools window. LEAs may, however, submit school security staff data during other staff-related collections. NOTE: If school security staff is submitted in the January snapshot, all fields required for professional staff must be submitted.
