• This field indicates the economically<br />
disadvantaged status of a student,<br />
and is used to provide the<br />
economically disadvantaged<br />
disaggregation.<br />
• This will be the one field used for all<br />
LEAs to indicate if a student is<br />
economically disadvantaged.<br />
• To determine if a student is<br />
economically disadvantaged, poverty<br />
data sources such as Temporary<br />
Assistance for Needy Families<br />
cases, census poor, Medicaid,<br />
children living in institutions for the<br />
neglected or delinquent, or those<br />
supported in foster homes may be<br />
used.<br />
• If such data are not available, use<br />
the most recent reliable data<br />
available at the time of<br />
determination, such as free and<br />
reduced price lunch eligibility.<br />
The type of diploma/credential that is<br />
awarded to a student in recognition of<br />
his/her completion of the curricular<br />
requirements; see Valid Values.<br />
A Student ID that is different than the<br />
primary identifier associated such as a<br />
local student identifier<br />
• This data must be entered<br />
in the October 1 Student<br />
Snapshot.<br />
• For most LEAs, this field<br />
will populate with “Y” if the<br />
student meets the<br />
