Enterprise and immigration in EU<br />

The project intends to help employers and employees to understand better the multicultural people they work with. The<br />

origin and sociocultural situation of the countries where the immigrants come from will be taken into account. It is<br />

important to understand these facts when working in a multicultural milieu. The philosophy behind the project is<br />

“knowledge versus ignorance” to help keep Europe at peace and combat racism and xenophobia. Immigrants are<br />

potential workers in all European countries and their employers do not know their languages, culture, traditions, ways<br />

of life etc… Nowadays we can find training courses for immigrants about the culture, language and ways of life of the<br />

countries they have emigrated to, but there are no training courses for employers and colleagues about the culture and<br />

languages of this labour force coming from very different countries in the world.<br />

The aim of the project is to integrate the immigrants better in their jobs and in their new countries through training<br />

courses that can help to have a better mutual understanding of their traditions, ways of thinking and peculiarities.<br />
