VMit – Virtual museum as innovatie tool for adult education<br />

An analysis of the situation in partner countries shows that museums working in association with adult education<br />

institutions have a significant contribution in creating knowledge society based on principles of <strong>learning</strong> partnership and<br />

the use of modern information technologies. The main aims and objectives are:<br />

• Creating a framework for small-scale co-operation among the partners from Denmark, France, Italy, Malta,<br />

Greece, Lithuania and Latvia.<br />

• Gathering and mutual exchange of information and experience about two aspects of adult education in the<br />

partner countries: historical/cultural heritage and availability of modern information technologies for needs of<br />

adult learners<br />

• Developing innovative <strong>learning</strong> tools for adult education.<br />
