Fifty Onwards
The FIFTY ONWARDS project aims to address the learning needs of older people in the 50 plus age range. It will
look at ways in which learning opportunities can increase self-esteem and motivation, thereby encouraging people to
be more confident of their ability to stay active in both society and the labour market. The partnership will work
towards producing an information pack in the form of a toolkit that will highlight the needs and opportunities for this
target group. Throughout the duration of the project, learners and people in the 50+ age group will play a key role in
visits, activities and the production of outcomes.
