Project Active involves a cross section of governmental, non-governmental, private and community agencies working<br />

with long term unemployed to identify the barriers to employment and active citizenship faced by this category of<br />

unemployed people from the regions of Europe where the project partners are active. We will review the information<br />

collated in the context of regional characteristics and in respect of each partner country’s domestic unemployment<br />

benefit arrangements.<br />
