PILPE - Promoting ICT Learning Processes in Europe<br />

The project aims to identify the barriers that hinder adult learners from using ICT in their <strong>learning</strong> process, as well as identify<br />

the factors that give adult learners negative attitude towards using ICT. Project findings will serve as basis for forwarding<br />

recommendations on developing “learner-friendly” methodologies on use of ICT in the <strong>learning</strong> process.<br />

Learners will be asked their opinion through online surveys. Moreover, adult students will be requested to write articles to<br />

encourage other learners to try ICT in their training. These articles will be posted at the project’s Website that will serve as a<br />

venue for exchanging “positive stories” on IT <strong>learning</strong>, and best practices in teaching adults using ICT. At the end of the<br />

project, a seminar will be held among adult educators, learners, and institutions involved in adult education to present the<br />

project’s findings and recommendations.<br />
