ᐋᓐᑎ ᒧᐊᖃᐅᔅ, ᒪᑭᕝᕕᐅᑉ ᐊᓪᓚᑎᒻᒪᕆᖓ ᐃᓄᐃᒃᑯᓗ ᑲᑎᖕᖓᔨᖏᑕ ᐊᖓᔪᕐᖄᕆᑦᓱᒍ.
studies such as: Internet, computers and other necessities. Our
students did not disappoint us, this funding was used in its entirety,
showing that it’s needed and put to wise use.
As we continue to see a gradual increase in students attending
post-secondary education programs, we hope to increase our
post-secondary budget to support our Nunavik Inuit and help them
achieve their educational goals.
I would like to thank the Air Inuit Board of Directors who also
compliment the support of Makivik for post-secondary education
through the issuing of flight passes to our students as well as their
dependents. This year in January and in September, Air Inuit issued
more than 200 passes for post-secondary students. These flight
passes enable our students to take a break from the city life, visit
family during the Thanksgiving weekend and other holidays or to
just be with family during hard times. Air Inuit will also continue
its support to ensure the development of a strong and educated
generation to lead us into the future.
We hope to see many more achieve their goal of becoming
post-secondary graduates and both Makivik and Air Inuit will be
there to support them along the way.

pour des fournitures comme des services d’accès à Internet, des
ordinateurs ou d’autres articles requis dans le cadre des études.
Les étudiants ont utilisé à bon escient ce financement qui prouve
ainsi sa grande pertinence.
Le nombre d’étudiants inscrits dans des programmes d’études
postsecondaires augmente sans cesse, et nous avons l’intention
d’augmenter le montant consacré à leur soutien afin que les jeunes
Inuits du Nunavik puissent atteindre sans embûches les objectifs
qu’ils se sont fixés en matière d’éducation.
En plus des bourses d’études versées par Makivik, les étudiants
reçoivent un laissez-passer d’Air Inuit leur donnant droit à un déplacement
aller-retour par semestre en compagnie de leurs personnes
à charge. Air Inuit a délivré plus de 200 laissez-passer en janvier et
septembre derniers. Les étudiants peuvent ainsi visiter leur famille,
et prendre un repos bien mérité loin de l’effervescence de la ville à
l’occasion de fêtes comme l’Action de grâce ou à tout autre moment
qui leur convient. Air Inuit appuie ainsi le développement d’une
génération solide et instruite qui nous guidera vers l’avenir.
Makivik et Air Inuit continueront d’appuyer avec fierté et sans
réserve les jeunes Inuits du Nunavik qui s’engagent dans des études
postsecondaires.
