This past year presented some challenges for First Air as we continue<br />
to strive for sustainability by reducing costs, increasing revenue and<br />
improving customer service.<br />
We launched our very<br />
important ‘LIFT’ initiative.<br />
LIFT is an acronym for Lean<br />
Integration Focus Team with<br />
a targeted focus on strategic<br />
improvement. Lean<br />
Integration is a long-term<br />
strategy for approaching<br />
challenges and developing<br />
a culture of continuous<br />
improvement. Our objectives<br />
are to find efficiencies<br />
within the operation to<br />
enhance our customers’<br />
travel experience, introduce<br />
sustainable cost-savings for<br />
the company and implement<br />
opportunities to increase revenue in a highly competitive and<br />
challenging environment.<br />
The sub-lease of our B767-200 to Cargojet has resulted in significant<br />
increased efficiency and cost-savings for First Air and more<br />
reliable services to our customers. This aircraft, along with other<br />
Cargojet B767s, continues to fly for First Air and our largest cargo<br />
customer, The Northwest Company. We will continue to market and<br />
First Air<br />

La sous-location de notre appareil B767-200 à Cargojet a permis<br />
de réaliser des gains d’efficacité et des économies importantes tout<br />
en offrant des services plus fiables à notre clientèle. Cet appareil,<br />
ainsi que d’autre B767 de Cargojet, continue de voler pour le compte<br />
de First Air et de notre plus important client de fret, la Northwest<br />
Company. Nous poursuivrons la mise en marché de la capacité<br />
