ᒪᑭᕝᕕᒧᑦ, ᐊᕐᕌᒍᑕᒫᕐᓯᐅᑎᒥᓐᓂᒃ ᑲᑎᖕᖓᑎᑦᓯᓂᖃᕈᑎᖏᓐᓂ ᒫᑦᔨ/ᒫᑦᓯ 27-ᒥ.
All of these consultations have inspired participants to talk
with pride about their communities and about building a stronger
Nunavik by working together.
From May to September 2014, the Parnasimautik core group
organizations (made up of the Makivik Corporation, the Kativik
Regional Government, the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and
Social Services, the Kativik School Board, the Nunavik Landholding
Corporations Association, the Avataq Cultural Institute, and the
Saputiit Youth Association) worked together and transformed
the visions of Nunavik Inuit into a report for the renewal of their
relationship with Canada, Québec and industrial developers. The
Parnasimautik Consultation Report covers all the fundamental issues
facing Nunavik Inuit and is a blueprint for the future of families, the
communities and the region.
In the coming months and years, Nunavik Inuit will continue
building on the 2014 Parnasimautik Consultation Report and the
2010 Plan Nunavik. As a next step, the Makivik Corporation has
accepted a mandate to prepare with the core group organizations
a Nunavik Inuit declaration for presentation at its annual general
meeting in March 2015.
In the meantime, it remains important for Nunavik Inuit and
their regional organizations to participate on all forums, tables,
committees and working groups created by governments concerning
development of the North. Earlier in the Fall, for example, the
Makivik Corporation submitted comments to Pierre Arcand, the
Québec Minister responsible for the Northern Plan, regarding the
Act respecting the Société du Plan Nord. Makivik is waiting for the
National Assembly to complete its study of the Act so that followup
can be conducted with the Québec government on how the

De mai à septembre 2014, les organisations du groupe-cadre
de Parnasimautik (composé de Makivik, l’Administration régionale
Kativik, la Régie régionale de la santé et des services sociaux, la
Commission scolaie Kativik, l’Association des corporations foncières
du Nunavik, l’Institut culturel Avataq et l’Association des jeunes
Saputiit) ont collaboré afin de transposer les visions des Inuits du
Nunavik dans un rapport portant sur le renouvellement des relation
qu’entretient le Nunavik avec le Canada, le Québec et les promoteurs
industriels. Le rapport de consultation Parnasimautik couvre toutes
les questions fondamentales auxquelles sont confrontés les Inuits
du Nunavik et constitue une feuille de route concernant l’avenir
des familles, des communautés et de la région.
Au cours des mois et des années à venir, les Inuits du Nunavik
continueront de bâtir en s’appuyant sur le Rapport de consultation
Parnasimautik publié en 2014 et le Plan Nunavik publié en 2010. À
titre de prochaine étape, Makivik a accepté de préparer en collaboration
avec les organisations du groupe-cadre une déclaration
des Inuits du Nunavik qui sera présentée lors de son assemblée
générale annuelle de mars 2015.
Entretemps, les Inuits du Nunavik et leurs organisations régionales
poursuivront leur participation à toutes les tables et à tous les
forums, comités et groupes de travail créés par les gouvernements
concernant le développement du Nord. À titre d’exemple, Makivik
a transmis l’automne dernier à Pierre Arcand, ministre québécois
responsable du Plan Nord, des commentaires concernant la Loi
sur la Société du Plan Nord. Lorsque l’Assemblée nationale aura
