Regular earn<strong>in</strong>gs from fodder and the jamun fruit tree along the borders<br />

COMPARISON OF MULTI-FRUIT CROP MODEL WITH SINGLE-CROP MODEL<br />

It is pert<strong>in</strong>ent to compare the enhanced earn<strong>in</strong>gs that result from us<strong>in</strong>g a multicrop<br />

model <strong>of</strong> mango + guava + pomegranate, as compared to, say, mango alone. With<br />

just one crop (mango) the earn<strong>in</strong>gs <strong>in</strong> both year 5 and year 10 are Rs. 33,000 and Rs.<br />

275,000, respectively (See Table 8).<br />
