relation to the dynamics <strong>of</strong> <strong>in</strong>ternational scientific research;<br />

Contribution to scientific knowledge development;<br />

●●<br />

Promoted/strengthened research directions <strong>in</strong> Danube River’s Morphology<br />

and <strong>Revitalization</strong>.<br />

Activity 1.1. Logistics study regard<strong>in</strong>g the <strong>in</strong>ventory methods and means<br />

for Danube River’s <strong>Revitalization</strong> projects.<br />

Methods: In this activity we made an <strong>in</strong>ventory <strong>of</strong> the methods and means that<br />

will be applied <strong>in</strong> the next phase <strong>of</strong> the project Comprehensive Danube River’s<br />

<strong>Revitalization</strong> Assessment and preparation <strong>of</strong> the Best Practices Danube River’s<br />

<strong>Revitalization</strong> Manual, based on the previous DDNI projects experience: Integrated<br />

Management <strong>of</strong> European Wetlands (IMEW), Master Plan for Master Plan - support for<br />

susta<strong>in</strong>able development <strong>in</strong> DDBR Tulcea county/ Romania Logical Framework Analyse<br />

(LFA), Room for the River <strong>in</strong> Cat’s Bend, Romania, as follows:<br />

Interactive plann<strong>in</strong>g Sketch Match;<br />

●●<br />

focus groups and semi-structured <strong>in</strong>terviews;<br />

●●<br />

tree problems.<br />

Activity 1.2. Classification <strong>of</strong> Danube River’s <strong>Revitalization</strong> Project on<br />

subclasses.<br />

Methods: Start<strong>in</strong>g from the Los Angeles River <strong>Revitalization</strong> Master Plan 1 developed<br />

by the City <strong>of</strong> Los Angeles Department <strong>of</strong> Public Works were taken and adapted<br />

several standard criteria <strong>of</strong> revitalization for Danube River, represent<strong>in</strong>g the base<br />

for the follow<strong>in</strong>g 4 criteria subclasses:<br />
