via Udon Thani 7230 kHz von
IBB Thailand Transmitting Station Udon Thani, P.O.Box 99, Amphur Muang,
Udon Thani 41000, Thailand.

U.K. Acc to Jean Grenier, of Eglise du Christ, their broadcast's are
aired on Thursdays 0600-0630 PM (UTC) on 11950 kHz. In French directed to
Africa. BUT, according to Merlin Communications schedule, the actual
airing is on Thursday, 7260 kHz, 1900-1930 UTC, via Woofferton, 300 kW's
directed to Africa. (which is when I heard them)
It wasn't till I sent him a recording of the actual broadcast, he was
surprised to hear that this when their scheduled. Apparently, he has
received numerous reports on this time slot.
Eglise du Christ: Acc. to Jean Grenier of the stn, their b/cs are aired on
Thu at 1800-1830 on 11950 in Fr to Africa. BUT acc. to Merlin skd, the
actual airing is Thu at 1900-1930 on 7260 via Woofferton, 300 kW to Africa
(which is when I hrd them). When I sent him a recording of the actual b/c
he was surprised to hear that this when they are scheduled. Apparently he
has rcvd numerous rpts on this time slot.

a confirmation letter that indeed that their BCB is being aired on the
date and times, as others are reporting. reply in 24 days, after sending a
Cassette Tape recording to this address:

BBCM/FBIS BBC Monitoring, the Caversham based sce that scrutinizes
thousands of foreign radio broadcasts on behalf of the BBC, the Ministry
of Defence, British intelligence sces and the CIA, has had its funding
reviewed by its new master, the Cabinet Office.
Formerly run by the Foreign Office, Caversham provided "open source
intelligence" in the war against terror information that was highly prized
for its rawness and lack of Downing Street spin.
Despite howls of protest from desk officers and analysts at the FO and
MI6, Caversham's budget has now been cut by o2m, losing 80 posts and
ending the monitoring of radio broadcasts from boring places where nothing
of interest ever happens such as the former Soviet Union and the whole of
Africa.
Monitoring's partner, the CIA's Foreign Broadcast Information Service,
with an office in Caversham, is also under financial review. The CIA's
secrecy requirements make it impossible for it to admit that the FBIS is
also facing cuts, but staff at Caversham have told the Eye that they are
