Dear Wolfy and Anker,
sorry for a delay in replying - I have actually managed to disappear for a
DXpedition for 5 days. Just returned from the trip now.
Anyway, I have checked several times during mornings, evenings and during
the daylight hours 9610, 5985, 6115 and 4765 and I am convinced that Congo
Brazzaville is currently not on SWs, at least not on these freqs (unless
there were some highly unusual propagation conditions, which would be
extremely unlikely). I'm not sure what other people are hearing on 9610
but it must be some sort of misunderstanding - I did not even come across
any French on that frequency. Hopefully Congo's absence from SW is not
permanent!
I hope to have some more positive nx next time!

Congo normally closes sce at 1655 UT. But there is also co-channel IBRA R
at 1900-2045 UT on very same channel. 9610 IBRA R scheduled exact at
1900-2045 UT, via DTK Juelich-D 100 kW 190 degrees,
in French, Bambara, Tamajeq, Hausa, Von, Zarma, Wolof, Dyula, Songhai,
Moore, Malinke, Fulfulde and Various.
I asked Vashek in South Africa to check this channel on his location.

9610 BBC Powerhouse 500 kW bis 1829 UT, hier sehr, sehr stark.
IBRA meist 1925 bis 2045 UT geh”rt, mit den verschiedensten
Sprachdiensten, auch mal Franzoesisch bis 2045 UT. Mal schwaecher, mal
staerker gestoert von CRI 9615 kHz.
